Since I was younger, I have always been interested in art, oil and acrylic artists and ink drawings. I like to study others works and try to guess how it was done. Once I started my technical studies, I needed to exercise a lot my skills to draw. This has become the base of my paints.
Even though I don’t have any academic training in arts, I’m continually interested on learn new ways of expanding my comprehension of the techniques, most of the time by trial and error method.
I started with the use of watercolours in small size drawings, always trying to bring light and bright colours to my painting. To do so, I used different brands of materials and new ways of applying them. Sometimes I use ink to mark off and to apply shadows.
My most beloved techniques ‘till now comes with the acrylics.
I have been working on different sizes and different ways of applying it always over wood which is the best surface for me. Trial and error method as before.
I like to investigate and play with the medium and pigments for the attempt to get the light and colours to my work; and with different ways of applying them.
I am always trying new techniques, always curious on how things come to my paint.
Paint has become a way to express myself.
